• What was the location of your meet up?

Athena from Irvine got to have some hang time with Kyle from Palm Springs during Sergio’s conference in Palm Desert. Making friends in the OFM group is probably the most special thing about being a supporter!

• What has it meant to you to make friends in our community?

I love that the OFM community has opened the doors for me to meet so many lovely, talented, kind, intelligent, and inspiring people I may not have had the opportunity to meet in my own bubble. The friendships and support found in this group have often been the THING that gets me through some dark and difficult times.

• What makes our community so special?

Dena is what makes this group special. The OFM Team is what fuels it and keeps the wheels in motion. Having a “leader” that is rooted in her faith, is kind, fun, and non-judge-mental and cares about everyone’s individual journey is what makes this community so unique and something I’m proud and honored to be a part of.

• What would you say to someone who is new to our group or someone who has been quietly watching and may be too shy/reluctant to join a live event?

I highly recommend getting more involved in the community or even becoming a supporter. You not only gain something by participating, you never know how YOUR involvement and interactions may help someone else. Finding kindred spirits with similar stories or experiences is so encouraging.
