And our joy was made even betta as Mike n' I peeped Natalia every last muthaf*ckin dizzle as Michele moonwalked back ta work as a nurse. Mike n' I loved every last muthaf*ckin minute. We took Natalia everywhere we went; tha grocery store, hustlin n' up ta eat…and she loved every last muthaf*ckin minute. It be so different helpin raise yo' grandlil pimps then yo' own. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch.
Our thugged-out asses had a special relationshizzle wit Natalia cuz dat biiiiatch was our first n' our crazy asses helped raise her fo' tha beginnin of her game. Natalia brought such joy ta our lives muthaf*cka! Each grandchild was a special gift ta our asses n' each one brought our asses so much joy. It’s funky as grandparents we seemed ta have mo' juice, be chillaxed, n' spend mo' time wit dem wild-ass muthaf*ckas. Us thugs would play cards, n' games, cook, bake n' sew! As muthaf*thas we was busy working, takin care of our home n' crew dat sometimes our phat asses didn’t take time ta smell tha roses. Time flys by so quickly, I guess that’s why tha time wit our grandlil pimps is like a second chizzle ta trip off mo' thangs together.
We loved hostin holidizzle events all up in tha year…Easta egg hunts, Chrizzle Eve, birthdizzle celebrations, St. Patty’s Dizzle n' Valentine’s Dizzle meals was big-ass events fo' our asses wit fun, chicken, laughta n' gifts muthaf*cka!
I never felt overwhelmed as a grandparent n' like that’s cuz I truly looked forward ta be a Grandmutha playa! Bein a grandparent is tha top billin gift…we didn’t bear tha responsibilitizzle of bein a parent. We could simply trip off our time together, spoil our grandchildren, sugar dem up n' then bust dem back home ta they muthaf*thas!
Afta they all went home Mike n' I had time ta spend together……just tha two of us, if you know what tha f*ck I mean!

I first became a Grandmother October 7, 1998!
Our beautiful granddaughter, Natalia, was the first born and oh what a joy!
I was 51 years old and so excited! I couldn’t wait to be a Grandmom. And our joy was made even better as Mike and I watched Natalia every day as Michele returned to work as a nurse. Mike and I loved every minute. We took Natalia everywhere we went; the grocery store, shopping and out to eat…and she loved every minute. It is so different helping raise your grandchildren then your own.
We had a special relationship with Natalia because she was our first and we helped raise her for the beginning of her life. Natalia brought such joy to our lives! Each grandchild was a special gift to us and each one brought us so much joy. It’s funny as grandparents we seemed to have more energy, be relaxed, and spend more time with them. We would play cards, and games, cook, bake and sew! As parents we were busy working, taking care of our home and family that sometimes we didn’t take time to smell the roses. Time flys by so quickly, I guess that’s why the time with our grandchildren is like a second chance to enjoy more things together.
We loved hosting holiday events throughout the year…Easter egg hunts, Christmas Eve, birthday celebrations, St. Patty’s Day and Valentine’s Day meals were big events for us with fun, food, laughter and gifts!
I never felt overwhelmed as a grandparent and perhaps that’s because I truly looked forward to be a Grandmother! Being a grandparent is the greatest gift…we didn’t bear the responsibility of being a parent. We could simply enjoy our time together, spoil our grandchildren, sugar them up and then send them back home to their parents!
After they all went home Mike and I had time to spend together……just the two of us, if you know what I mean!
